Author bio and a short synopsis of the coming novel - "Kill Protocol Seraph", a thrilling new black comedy science fiction romp of good old fun
Tentative Bio to be used for this book -
Note - this is not me, but I am thinking about wearing a turtle neck, smoking jacket and smoking a pipe for my dust cover photo.Joshua Bennett once attended the esteemed halls of Cascadia Community College, where he majored in the fine art of barely getting by. Having since failed with equal flair in both the public sector (where he was chewed up by bureaucracy) and the private sector (where he was chewed up by capitalism), he has wisely retreated to life as an expat recluse author, scribbling feverishly to feed his family and avoid getting a real job.
He implores you - nay, begs you - to visit his website (Coming Soon!) and purchase something, anything, from his affiliate page. Every click brings him one step closer to a hot dinner and perhaps, if the stars align, dessert.
Until then, he writes. Because what else is he going to do - go back to permit approval for planning?
Kill Protocol Seraph -
Jason thought he’d peaked in the ARMY. These days, he’s barely keeping the lights on as a failing YouTube creator, posting videos about strange shapes on desert maps that nobody watches and trying to maintain his relationship with Beth.
Until one of those map oddities leads him to a hidden tomb in the American Southwest—where he stumbles upon a nine-foot-tall suit of ancient, living black death armor. Inside its memory, he learns the truth: when scientists pierced Lake Vostok, they unleashed a swarm of alien brain parasites that have been quietly infecting humanity ever since.
Now Jason is the only man alive who can activate the armor’s Kill Protocol—a failsafe designed to wipe out every parasite-infected human, and the uninfected followers who serve them. But genocide in the name of salvation carries a heavy price.
Is Jason humanity’s executioner—or its last, unlikely hope?
I have outlined most of the story, and only barely started to write it. Trust me, it sounds really good in my head. The story and how it goes.
The good news is I will be posting a chapter each month, which gives me just enough time to write it, proof it and edit it before posting.
So follow along and send me comments and feedback, I need it!
